I’m delighted to invite you to stay on my canal boat, in a secluded beautiful location in Central London Zone 2, close to the River Thames, with stunning views across the marina to Canary Wharf.

The accommodation is simple but comfortable, with a cosy double cabin, kitchen, loo, heating and running cold water. Overland, Tube (Jubilee Line) and Uberboat pier nearby mean there is virtually no part of London you can’t get to in 45 minutes.

The marina is gated and with a shower block on the pontoon. Shops are nearby.

Rather than renting the boat out to strangers, I want to use it to give back to my supporters and to help those of you who need to stay in London or who want to get away to write. I know from experience it’s a nightmare of spiralling costs and inconvenience when you are coming from far away.

If you are an annual paid subscriber get in touch for more details and to book. The cost is £40 per night for stays of 7 nights or fewer; £35 per night for stays over seven nights, to a maximum of one month. Linens, cooking facilities and utensils are provided and bills are included.
